Hi, I’m Emily.
I’ve spent most of my life creating things–short stories, poems, paintings, business ideas–and most of my college career wondering: How can I use creativity to leave a positive impact on the world?
After joining my school’s advertising agency and studying abroad at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, I realized advertising offered me a place for all my favorite pursuits–art, strategy, social good, people, humor, and culture. I’m so excited to learn even more about how modern media can change our world for the better–and how I can change it.
Successful pitches…
(Very) Early Career
In elementary school, I named my bracelet business “Braidy Bunch,” as both a play on words and appeal to the Gen-Xers in my neighborhood.
“This is the kind of out-of-the-box thinking I love. Sometimes your craziest idea is the one most worth pursuing.”

Pitch Perfect
This fall in New York City, my friends and I had Magnolia’s marketing team erupting in laughter and taking notes at our unlikely partnership suggestion during their 20-minute Brief Challenge. Our idea: partner with Trojan to promote community health and sweet indulgence at the same time.
Adventures in advertising
One of my first real encounters with the industry was in Cannes. While visiting Havas Cafe, I was honored to receive a Mentorship for asking Best Question of the Day.

“Emily is one of the most talented artists I have had the pleasure of working with. When I was campaigning for Student Body President of ASU, Emily was my go to girl for all content. She successfully captured the entire campaign trail and platform in such a beautiful and memorable way through her art.”
